Automotive Detailer

Bob Ruth Ford, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wash Bay Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our sales operation, you will be responsible for ensuring the exterior of new and pre-owned vehicles is clean and presentable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and clean exterior of vehicles using pressure washing equipment, brushes, chemicals, and other tools according to department standards
• Retrieve and return assigned vehicles according to schedule and/or instructions
• Vacuum, remove stickers, clean windows, shine tires, wipe plastics, dry vehicles, and other tasks as needed, required, or assigned
• Complete work area cleanup, laundry rotation, maintenance tasks, or other duties as needed and/or assigned
• Maintain and protect company-supplied tools and aids, including task lighting, razor knives, drying towels/shammies, pressure washer hoses and guns, compressed air hoses and guns, and other items
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned, including retrieval and charging of golf carts, cleaning of brushes and buckets, and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including some Saturdays and overtime with approval

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to drive a vehicle equipped with a manual (standard) and automatic transmission

Work Environment

This position is located in a fast-paced dealership environment. The Wash Bay Attendant will be required to work in a team-oriented setting and maintain a clean and organized work area.
