This position requires working on rotating weekends. Shift Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional cleaning services throughout the warehouse environment.
  • Supervise the workflow of team members to ensure efficient productivity and successful task completion, assigning work as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of facilities by managing waste disposal, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Dust and clean various surfaces including furniture, mirrors, walls, machinery, and equipment.
  • Occasionally strip, seal, wax, and buff floors using appropriate machinery.
  • Ensure break room areas and floors are kept orderly and hygienic.
  • Thoroughly clean and maintain restrooms using appropriate tools and disinfectants.
  • Restock supplies such as soap, towels, and other necessary items.
  • Mix and apply various cleaning agents to effectively remove stains and clean surfaces.
  • Identify and report potential repairs or hazardous conditions.
  • Operate vehicles as needed for cleaning tasks, including vans and powered or manual industrial trucks.
  • Respond to emergencies and perform additional job-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Prior cleaning experience in an industrial or commercial setting.
  • Familiarity with standard cleaning tools and equipment, such as mops, floor waxes, and scrubbing pads.
  • Ability to recognize potential issues without necessarily solving them.
  • Capacity to endure extended hours of continuous work when necessary.
  • Physical demands of the role include walking, standing, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Knowledge of equipment care, cleaning solution measurements, and safety precautions.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Detail-oriented and team-focused.
  • Capability to work independently and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Certification to operate motorized equipment is required.
