Solid Waste Collection Technician

**Job Summary**

Government Jobs is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating solid waste collection and transport equipment, and related work as apparent or assigned.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Operate solid waste collection and transport equipment, including trucks and other vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct safety inspections on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective waste collection and transport operations.
• Perform other related duties as apparent or assigned.

**Requirements:**

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in equipment operation and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

**Working Conditions:**

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
