Lead Oracle Solutions Architect

Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering high-quality enterprise software solutions that significantly impact our clients. This role involves leading architectural and development initiatives, specializing in at least one major enterprise IT application, a primary database platform (such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server), and a key operating system (like Linux). The Lead Oracle Solutions Architect will engage in all phases of the development lifecycle, serving as the senior technical programmer for the designated enterprise system and/or application.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and developing within the Oracle E-Business Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL programming, and performance optimization. Familiarity with Oracle database versions 19c, 12c, and 11i is advantageous.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business, particularly in financial applications.
  • Ability to create efficient, maintainable, and optimized PL/SQL stored code.
  • Expertise in analyzing and enhancing query performance, database indexing, and utilizing Oracle's performance monitoring tools.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player who values contributions from others.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with development teams on application interface design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and monitoring of systems and business-level monitoring to ensure continuous feedback on system health.
  • Design and develop custom software and production technologies to fulfill business requirements.
  • Implement solutions to address business needs using third-party hardware and software.
  • Document solutions and provide training to personnel on implemented systems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database stored code and objects, including schema design, table structures, indexes, and data modeling.
  • Enhance database performance through query optimization, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing indexing strategies.
  • Develop complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to execute business logic and data manipulation.
  • Create and maintain database scripts, including stored procedures, views, and materialized views.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging of PL/SQL code to ensure functionality, accuracy, and compliance with business requirements.
  • Effectively manage the creation and parsing of XML and JSON structures and their interfaces within Oracle database applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance challenges, data integrity problems, and connectivity issues.
  • Interface with communication gateways to connect and share relevant metadata between enterprise IT applications.
