Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide financial leadership, decision support, and strategic direction for the organization. Key responsibilities include developing a financial and operational strategy, associated metrics, and ongoing development and monitoring of control systems and reporting of accurate financial results. The CFO will also be a key member of Open Learning's leadership team, developing and implementing financial aspects of strategic business plans that align with the short-term and long-term goals of the organization. Additionally, the CFO will lead the development of annual and multi-year budgets for Open Learning's units, monitor all financial aspects of the organization, and provide financial leadership across various units.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years of financial management experience. Strong organizational, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills are essential. A master's degree and higher education experience are preferred.

Compensation
The salary range is $175,000 - $225,000, with the final salary determined by MIT's compensation team based on the skills and experience of the person hired. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days a week required onsite in Cambridge, MA, based on the needs of the team, MIT, and the Vice Provost Open Learning.
