Critical Care Night Advanced Practice Provider

The University of Kentucky is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Night Advanced Practice Provider to join our multidisciplinary health care team. As an integral member of our ICU team, you will be responsible for managing critically ill adults and providing high-quality patient care.
This role requires a strong foundation in evidenced-based practice and education, with a focus on ensuring a safe and quality care environment. You will work closely with our team to provide comprehensive care to patients, from ICU to step-down to discharge.

Responsibilities- Manage critically ill adults in the ICU setting
- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure a safe and quality care environment through adherence to evidence-based practices and protocols
- Participate in ongoing professional development and competency validation
- MSN for Nurse Practitioners or BS for Physician Assistants
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
- 1 year of related experience
