We are seeking a highly skilled Production Line Operator to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, performing general housekeeping duties, rework, preparing packaging, and other tasks as assigned by supervision. You will also be required to attend to and adjust machines during operation to ensure product flow through the machines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Set up machines prior to shift start-up and make adjustments as necessary for changes due to production type.
  2. Properly tear down, clean, and reassemble pumps, sanitary lines, and line equipment.
  3. Attend to and adjust machines during operation to ensure product flow through the machines.
  4. Operate CIP skids in addition to breakdown and cleaning of line components.
  5. Knowledge of chemical handling procedures, including PPE required.
  6. Completion of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual MSS items.
  7. Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement.
  8. Communicate with supervisor when equipment needs attention.
  9. Report and resolve any observed quality issues while cleaning equipment.
  10. Successfully pass qualification test.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Related Experience: Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge - data entry.
  • Competencies:

  3. Produce accurate documentation.
  4. Follow attendance policies.
  5. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  6. Will have the opportunity to learn various positions.
  7. Must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies.
  8. Must adhere to and comply with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations, and policies.

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights.

Estimated Salary: $18.50 per hour.
