Scientific Research Assistant

Job Description: The University of Massachusetts Medical School seeks a skilled research associate to provide operational support to the laboratory and perform research experiments with a degree of independence.
Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory experiments, utilize software relevant to experiment and equipment used, interpret data, maintain accurate records, review literature, record results, assist with data analysis, maintain a lab notebook, present findings, monitor laboratory supply levels, prepare buffers, media, solutions, and comply with safety regulations.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in biological or natural science and 18 months of relevant research experience or a related master's degree. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to analyze complex visual data are required.
