The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and learning, and will be able to design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement culturally responsive lesson plans that promote academic achievement and social growth.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a strong home-school-community connection and work collaboratively with stakeholders to support student success.
- Utilize data-driven instruction to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
- Develop and implement interventions and activities to meet students' academic, social, psychological, and physical needs.
- Establish and communicate clear learning objectives and engage students in the learning process.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and monitor student behavior.
- Creates a positive student learning environment and positively manages student behavior.
- Certified in New York State.
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
