About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Safe Haven Awake Overnight Counselor to join our team at Vinfen. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and welcoming environment for individuals with significant histories of homelessness and psychiatric conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and engage residents in a comfortable and safe setting, promoting their participation in working on their self-defined needs for income, benefits, housing, health issues, and social support.
  • Meet residents' needs for privacy and safety, and gradually encourage their participation in activities and services.
  • Assist with nightly cleaning and filing, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Foster a place of mutual respect, support, caring, and collaboration with staff and residents, prioritizing safety, health, and learning.

  • A competitive salary of $22.00 per hour.
  • A sign-on bonus of $2000, with $1000 upon completion of 30 days and $1000 upon completion of 6 months.
