The successful candidate will develop the vision and strategic direction of human resources efforts that support operational activities at the Sanford School, ensuring consistent and accurate interpretation and application of human resources policies and practices. Key responsibilities include liaising with Duke University HR leaders and offices, providing expertise on human resources functions and issues, and representing the Sanford School on internal and external committees.

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of business and/or administrative experience, including exposure to human resources activities.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptability to changing circumstances, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Familiarity with University HR systems and tools is also preferred.
