Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is a key member of our team, responsible for leading a manufacturing production team to achieve injury-free/incident-free operations in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong leadership and direction to motivate team members to meet productivity, safety, and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe working environment and promote a safety-first mindset among team members.
  • Follow and enforce company policies, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Drive safety excellence through employee involvement, ownership, and accountability.
  • Hire, schedule, and supervise full-time staff and temporary workers.
  • Provide coaching, corrective feedback, and administer disciplinary processes as needed.
  • Perform quarterly and annual reviews for team members.
  • Facilitate team development, growth, and problem-solving.
  • Oversee process documentation, training programs, and quality processes.
  • Ensure quality products are produced and quality processes are followed.
  • Work with Quality Control, Engineering, and Maintenance to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Track productivity and operate within budgeted costs using lean manufacturing procedures.
  • Oversee inventory control procedures to achieve accuracy goals.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and solving production issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, such as calculating percentages and volumes.
