Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at South Peninsula Hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with the healthcare team, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Current Alaska RN license.
  • 1 year of ICU experience.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
  • TNCC certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
