Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Sales Team

As a Sales Velocity Leader at Sumo Logic, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals. You will establish cross-functional relationships, metrics, and team culture norms to drive sales velocity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales velocity, streamline the sales process, and accelerate deal closure.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with technology practitioners to identify opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Work diligently to prospect, qualify, and close business, leveraging a consultative approach and conducting effective product demos.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering to conduct technical and non-technical web product demos and ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, activity reports, and pipeline management within Salesforce to track performance metrics and drive insights.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of inside sales experience in a technology-driven environment, with a focus on accelerating sales velocity and new logo acquisition.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and techniques, with the ability to effectively qualify leads and manage a high-volume pipeline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with prospects and team members.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for driving revenue growth, exceeding expectations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
