We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Recreation Instructor to join our team at the Town of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. As a Recreation Instructor, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating recreation programs for youth, adults, and seniors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recreation programs that promote physical activity, socialization, and community engagement
  • Lead and facilitate recreation programs, including sports, games, and arts and crafts
  • Work with community partners to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of diverse populations
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for program participants

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
