Academic Program Operations Specialist

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a highly skilled Academic Program Support Specialist to provide exceptional support to academic program operations. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with faculty and academic coordinators to develop and oversee processes and operations, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to support academic program operations.
- Collaborate with faculty and academic coordinators to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Manage priorities and deadlines effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, utilizing data to inform decision-making.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Ability to develop and oversee processes and operations, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively and with attention to detail.
- Ability to develop good relationships with faculty and staff.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in student services or student affairs positions.
- Higher education experience.
- Understanding of policies and procedures related to student and academic program tracking and reporting.
