About the Role

At Sheraton Reston, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other hotel equipment to ensure they operate efficiently.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment or systems, including heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, and other hotel infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including documenting work performed, parts used, and any other relevant information.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to understand their maintenance needs and address any issues that may impact guest satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends, and provide training to other staff members on basic maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct regular property walks and inspections of the hotel's physical facilities to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years in general property maintenance or a related field, and relevant experience in hotel maintenance preferred.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience required.
  • High School or equivalent education required.
  • Certification: CFC preferred.
  • Experience in PTAC Maintenance and repair a big plus.
  • Experience in Drywall fixing highly preferred.
  • Experience in Painting highly preferred.
  • Fire and Safety knowledge preferred.
  • Flexible Availability.
