Job Summary

The Patient Access Specialist plays a vital role in providing a positive patient experience at Aspire Indiana Health, Inc. This position is responsible for coordinating patient flow from check-in to check-out, ensuring that all information is complete and accurate to establish and maintain a patient record.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Verify patient information and ensure accuracy
  • Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in healthcare highly preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills with Google Suite required
  • Previous insurance billing experience highly preferred
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL) a plus
