Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care, including vital sign checks and basic medical procedures.
- Collaborate with the registered nurse and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in patient safety initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Assist with various patient, unit, and environment-related tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Patient Care Technician program, or equivalent medical background experience.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Strong sense of accountability and teamwork.
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care and service.
- Experience or certification in phlebotomy and checking EKG, vital signs, and blood sugar.
- At least one year of PCT or CNA experience in a hospital setting, or eligibility for the HMH PCT apprentice program.
