Key Responsibilities- Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist
- Measure, mix, count, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription orders
- Manage the drug distribution system and provide technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe, effective, patient-focused, and cost-efficient drug therapy
- Virginia Pharmacy Technician license
- CPhT license through PTCB or NHA (required if licensed in VA after 7/1/2021)
- 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience
- Prior hospital experience
