Responsibilities
  • Evaluates and develops educational programs to ensure conformance to state and local school board standards.
  • Articulates the school's mission and vision to ensure all stakeholders have a common understanding and are positioned to work cooperatively to achieve desired results.
  • Ensures the school meets the needs of students while complying with laws regarding special education and other categorical programs.
  • Interfaces with students, families, and local districts regarding compliance and student attendance.
  • Develops and oversees the implementation of the school's Student Achievement Improvement Plan.
  • Supervises and evaluates teaching staff, manages teacher performance, and provides necessary training to support their professional development.
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Master's degree and five years of educational experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to clear required background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an online educator.
  • Previous administrative experience.
