Network Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our Hosting team at Epic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and reliable network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network security architectures to protect against external threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the network
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security risks
- Provide expert-level support for security-related issues and incidents
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in CIS, IS, IT, or a related field
- Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- COVID-19 vaccination
Preferred experience/interest in one of the following areas:
- Micro-segmentation platforms such as VMware NSX or Cisco ACI
- Web Application (WAF) & Next-Generation (NGFW) firewall
- Palo Alto Networks experience
- Scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, GoLang, or Python
As a member of the Hosting team at Epic, you will be responsible for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting. This includes following policies and procedures, escalating potential security incidents, and meeting all security responsibilities defined in policies and procedures.
