Job Description

As a Staff Software Architect at GE HealthCare, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of IoT middleware architecture for patient monitoring. Your expertise will drive innovation and efficiency within our healthcare systems, focusing on mission-critical micro-services supporting lifesaving patient monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cutting-edge solutions for real-time patient monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize middleware architecture
  • Drive technical design reviews and ensure adherence to GE HealthCare's guidelines
  • Work with principal engineers to develop multi-generation software technology plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on IoT and middleware architecture
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud technologies
  • Experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and micro-services
