About the Role

Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our team at the Mission Hope Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Accomplish patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner.
  • Assess emergency situations accurately and think independently to provide effective solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire. Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT or CCI required upon hire. High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN.
  • BCLS certified.
  • Preferred: ARDMS in multiple specialties and 12 months previous experience in ultrasound.
