Ultrasound Technologist-Intermediate Job Description

At Mission Hospital, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of healthcare. As an Ultrasound Technologist-Intermediate, you will play a vital role in our team, utilizing your expertise to produce high-quality imaging studies and assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients, utilizing sterile techniques and assisting physicians as necessary.
  • Produce superior quality imaging studies, working independently to meet the specific needs of the departments.
  • Routinely work within a minimum of 2 qualifying ARDMS specialty certifications in addition to ARDMS, ARRT or CCI Vascular certification, as directed by department managers/supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related profession.
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire. Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT or CCI required upon hire. High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN.
Preferred Experience:
  • 12 months previous experience in ultrasound.
