Ultrasound Technologist-Intermediate Job Description

At Mission Hospital, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of healthcare. As an Ultrasound Technologist-Intermediate, you will play a vital role in our team, utilizing your expertise to produce high-quality imaging studies and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients, utilizing sterile techniques and assisting physicians as necessary.
  • Produce superior quality imaging studies, working independently to meet the specific needs of the departments.
  • Routinely work within a minimum of 2 qualifying ARDMS specialty certifications in addition to ARDMS, ARRT or CCI Vascular certification, as directed by department managers/supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related profession.
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire. Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT or CCI required upon hire.
  • High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN.
Preferred Experience:
  • 12 months previous experience in ultrasound.
