Sales Manager for Financial Services

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead our new high-volume cold calling sales team in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, a passion for coaching and developing talent, and the ability to drive new business acquisition through strategic cold calling initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow while setting your own imprint on this new sales unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and train a team of sales representatives, conducting interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
- Design and implement a comprehensive sales training program covering cold calling techniques, product knowledge, objection handling, and closing strategies.
- Set performance expectations, monitor results, and develop plans to expand market share.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to sales representatives.
- Assign and manage sales territories.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales in the financial services industry.
- Experience in high-volume cold calling and lead generation.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or relevant training certifications.
Compensation:
Target salary $75,000 - $88,000 plus bonus.
