Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Supervisor to join our team at Gulfstream. As a Material Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling material to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Planning: Develop and implement material plans to ensure timely delivery of materials to the production floor.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, negotiate prices, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Production Control: Work closely with production teams to ensure that materials are delivered to the production floor in a timely manner.
  • Leadership: Supervise a team of material handlers, provide guidance and training, and conduct performance evaluations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience: 7 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires up to 25% travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of material planning, inventory management, and supply chain management principles.
