Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Haul Truck Operator to join our team at Kentucky Aggregate - Cumberland River Quarry. As a Haul Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, hauling materials, and ensuring the efficient operation of our quarry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate 50 and 100-ton haul trucks, as well as water trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Identify and mitigate hazards in the work area, including stockpiles, haul roads, and pit areas.
  • Load barges on fixed and floating docks, and haul materials to the Rip Rap Plant.
  • Meet or exceed production targets while maintaining a high level of safety and quality.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment in a similar environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
