Northpoint Roofing Systems, a distinguished name in the roofing industry recognized for its dedication to quality and customer satisfaction, is seeking Roofing Sales Consultants to join our dynamic team.

As a Roofing Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored roofing solutions to meet our clients' specific requirements through both retail and insurance sales channels. Your responsibilities will encompass prompt follow-up on sales leads and the cultivation of a robust referral network. A consistent supply of sales leads will be provided to support your efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grasp the fundamental sales processes for retail and insurance roofing sales, identifying the most suitable approach for each customer.
  • Develop sales expertise in either retail or insurance sales, with opportunities for training if needed.
  • Engage in regular training sessions to enhance your sales capabilities.
  • Maintain discipline in managing leads through the company’s CRM software on a daily basis.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment where Roofing Sales Consultants share insights and market observations.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, effectively managing challenging situations and responding promptly to inquiries.
  • Represent Northpoint Roofing Systems professionally in all interactions with clients, adjusters, vendors, and the public.
  • Establish and sustain connections with both new and existing clients through various communication channels.
  • Accurately document all sales activities in the database.
  • Utilize marketing tools and data to enhance sales productivity.
  • Keep an organized calendar, ensuring punctuality for appointments and responsiveness to colleagues and clients.
  • Collect payments as necessary.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and stay informed about sales trends, products, and industry developments.
  • Mentor and train fellow sales representatives.
  • Achieve or surpass established sales targets.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the roofing sector, with a preference for experience in both retail and insurance sales.
  • Be comfortable with technology, including iPad-based CRM systems and basic computer skills.
  • Integrate weekly and daily training into your sales routine.
  • Be willing to travel; a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and be an attentive listener.
  • Demonstrate effective and professional presentation abilities.
  • Be self-motivated, sales-oriented, and a team player.
  • Show the ability to overcome objections and work efficiently within a short sales cycle.
  • Have familiarity with building codes, laws, and regulations.
  • Be capable of safely climbing stairs and using ladders or roofs.
  • Have experience with tablets, specifically Apple iPads (iPadOS).
  • Be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
