We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team at the University of North Texas System. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education to our students, fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, and contributing to the growth and development of our academic programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in multidisciplinary programs, including Project Design and Analysis, Applied Project Design and Analysis, Industrial Distribution, and Applied Arts and Sciences.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations that align with course objectives and learning outcomes.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, promoting academic success and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assess student learning, and improve teaching practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure relevance and effectiveness in the classroom.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. or ABD in a relevant field, minimum of 1 year university-level teaching experience, experience teaching in multidisciplinary or cross-disciplinary courses, and experience with project-based curricula.
