The Department of Accounting at the University of North Texas is a leading program in the field of accounting education. Our undergraduate and graduate programs are designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Our faculty are experts in their fields, and we offer a range of courses that cover topics such as financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and auditing. We also offer a variety of experiential learning opportunities, including internships and research projects.Adjunct Instructor Position

We are seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach a range of accounting courses, including Acct 2010 Accounting Principles I, Acct 2020 Accounting Principles II, Acct 3405 Professional Development, and Acct 5370 Family Tax Planning. The specific courses and sections will vary depending on the semester and departmental needs.

As an adjunct instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, developing and delivering course materials, and assessing student learning. You will also be expected to participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the accounting program.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a master's degree in accounting or a related field, or a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours directly related to the assigned courses. Industry experience and certifications relevant to the teaching area are also highly valued.

As an adjunct instructor, you will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching and learning, and to be able to communicate effectively with students and colleagues. You will also be expected to be familiar with the University of North Texas System's policies and procedures.Benefits
