Job Summary

This is a contract position that will be part of a 24-month assignment funded by the University of California Office of the President (UCOP). The contract Instructional Designer will participate in a systemwide program or project as a training, education, or instructional design professional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select technologies and tools to create supportive learning activities and develop new training in response to the University's needs.
  • Collaborate with others to create multimedia content and produce it according to an established schedule.
  • Analyze needs and develop recommendations to address a wide range of training issues.
  • Provide support for testing courses to ensure they are functional, designed with learning in mind, and compliant.
Requirements

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
