Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in various system development evaluations between the Government and the software development team/contractor.
- Assist in crafting software testing documentation and conduct system testing during the rollout of new software versions.
- Provide functional assistance to field testers and program management personnel to troubleshoot issues during the review and execution of test scenarios.
- Support Government testing, including SDC testing for all iterations.
- Participate in an annual test of the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) and offer suggestions for updates based on the findings.
- Conduct user training on the operation of the CPM FoS.
- Execute database queries, updates, and modifications using Structured Query Language (PL/T SQL), SQL*plus, SQL*Net, data query, SQL Developer, APEX, etc.
- Utilize Government-approved tools for requirements and test management, as well as problem report and discrepancy report tracking.
- Employ Government-approved tools for user problem/resolution management and SANs.
- Hold the necessary certification and security clearance to comply with DoD 8570.1M requirements, including all revisions and supplements.
- Secret Clearance is mandatory.
This position operates in a professional office setting with a noise level that is primarily low to moderate. The role typically involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
The position is predominantly indoors, consistent with a standard office role, and requires the incumbent to stand, walk, sit, use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. The workload may necessitate prolonged periods of sitting. The incumbent must be capable of reading, performing basic math calculations, and managing moderate stress levels.
Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 lbs may be required. Specific vision abilities necessary for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
