Job Title: Business Analyst

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization, providing technical solutions to meet user needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business partner operations to understand strengths and weaknesses, identifying opportunities to automate processes and functions.
  • Assist in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications.
  • Educate the IT organization on business direction and negotiate agreements and commitments between business units and IT.
  • Stay up-to-date with technological trends and bring solutions to business units to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of relevant technical or business work experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts to understand application requirements.
  • Strong understanding and experience related to business analysis methodologies and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Some SQL experience.
  • Some knowledge of Health Language 7 (HL7).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and MS Access.
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
