Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our team. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating an extrusion line to produce high-quality products. You will work closely with the Extrusion Supervisor to ensure the highest quality product is produced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate an extrusion line to produce high-quality products
  • Monitor and adjust the extrusion machine, die, water, or vacuum to ensure the highest quality product
  • Oversee the quality of and documentation for the product run
  • Maintain records of lost production hours, including reasons for lost time
  • Assist the Extrusion Supervisor in providing supervision, direction, and hands-on mentorship with staff
  • Perform all work cautiously, with safety of yourself and fellow team members at the top of mind
  • Help to maintain a safe space for your team to share feedback and ideas for improvements

What We Offer

  • Competitive starting hourly wage of $22.00 per hour
  • Day shift position, Monday - Friday, 7a-3:30p then 7am-7pm on a 2-2-3 Schedule
  • Sign-on Bonus of $500 paid after 90 days and $1,000 after 180 days

Requirements

  • Your commitment to being a reliable and punctual team player
  • Your commitment to wearing gloves, eye protection, and steel toe boots always, and dust mask, earplugs, hard hats, and face shields as necessary
  • Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly work space
  • Your ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance, as well as the ability to push and pull pipe coils
  • Your ability to work most of the time indoors on the plant floor, with heat, dust, and noise and work some of the time outdoors in any weather condition
  • Your ability to remain in a stationary, standing position 80-100% of the time. Must be able to squat, bend, or stoop as much as 25% of the time on some days
