Arconic is currently in search of a Fabricator to join our Kawneer Building and Construction Systems Team in Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Actively engage in safety of self of self and others at the facility, including holding customers and contractors responsible for best in class safety.
- Produce a quality product with attention to detail.
- Ensure orders maintain internal schedule to keep pace to be on time to customer.
- Follow directions from manager and functional lead to complete daily tasks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities as needed
- Measuring of aluminum extrusions to be cut for fabrication.
- Assembly of cut aluminum and hardware into doors and frames.
- Check material against orders and visually inspect incoming materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Basic Qualifications
- Employees must be at least 18 years of age
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- High school diploma
- Experience using power tools including electrical, hydraulic and air powered industrial machines.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 or more years of fabrication or construction experience.

About the Team
The Salt Lake City, UT Service Center is located in West Valley City, about 20 minutes from Downtown Salt Lake. It consists of the communities of Chesterfield, Granger, Redwood, and Hunter.
West Valley City is located in an area filled with notable history and various entertainment options, including the Maverik Center and the USANA Amphitheatre. It offers excellent proximity to SLC International Airport as well as ample dining and shopping.
