Job Description

CIFC Health's Women's Health Department is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor and record vital signs, medical history, and symptoms
  • Assist with physical exams and medical procedures as needed and within licensure
  • Provide education to patients and families on healthcare topics
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Collaborate with school nurses, WIC colleagues, DCF, and other medical departments as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current LPN license in the state of Connecticut
  • Previous experience in pediatrics preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual strongly encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Understanding of medical terminology and nursing protocols
  • Experience with electronic medical records required; eClinical Works preferred
