Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Rockstar Recruiting. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing general repairs and maintenance on commercial trucks, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and accurately, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Conduct warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution of issues.
  • Perform emissions testing and repairs as required, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair status and recommendations, ensuring seamless collaboration and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong background in heavy-duty truck repair and maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and related systems, including electrical, transmission, and emissions systems.
  • Experience with warranty repairs and emissions testing preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship, with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check.
