Position Overview: As an Information Security Analyst, you will be instrumental in formulating, executing, and sustaining security protocols to shield the organization’s information systems. This position demands a proactive and meticulous individual with a solid grasp of cyber threats, risk mitigation, and security technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish, execute, and oversee security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform regular security evaluations, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to uncover and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor and scrutinize security alerts and incidents to identify and react to possible threats.
  • Collaborate with IT and other divisions to ensure that security measures are effectively implemented and maintained.
  • Deliver security training and awareness initiatives for staff members.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends, threats, and technological advancements in cybersecurity.
  • Support the creation of disaster recovery and incident response strategies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or similar positions.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
  • Expertise in conducting security evaluations and vulnerability management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform under pressure.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly regarded.
Employment type: Ongoing contract
