Job Title: Fetal Echocardiography Specialist

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Fetal Echocardiography Specialist to join our team at the Willow Oaks location.

Job Summary:

The Fetal Echocardiography Specialist will be responsible for performing specialized diagnostic medical sonography procedures, including fetal echocardiography, to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our Ultrasound team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform fetal echocardiography procedures to diagnose and monitor fetal heart conditions
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives and maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical sonography or five years specialized training in a hospital/healthcare setting
  • One year experience in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of specialized diagnostic medical sonography
  • ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT registration with RVT/RVS/VS or RDMS/ARRT with at least two sonographer specialties
