As a Mechanical Engineer - Nuclear Propulsion, you will have the opportunity to work in a team environment to design and develop advanced nuclear propulsion technology, providing technical support and training world-class nuclear operators.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and analysis of primary and secondary systems, including support of the existing Naval Fleet
- Development of improved manufacturing processes to improve cost and decrease development span times
- Analysis and testing of new naval nuclear propulsion technologies
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science-related field
- Strong academic performance and ability to work in a team environment
- Experience working in a team environment with interface groups such as mechanical design, manufacturing, and test/experiment design and execution
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to write technical reports or engineering evaluations
- Competitive salary range: $62,000.00 - $94,900.00 annually
