Position Overview:
- Design sophisticated electrical control, monitoring, and communication systems.
- Choose power and instrumentation components for ground support equipment.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, block diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Perform electrical engineering analyses and develop project specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
- Additional responsibilities include cable harness assemblies, component selection, and system calculations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) License or eligibility for obtaining Florida PE certification within one year.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with federal and military construction design standards.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
- Experience with software such as Creo, Revit, AGI32, and SKM Power Tools.
- Understanding of hazardous location wiring methodologies.
