The Enterprise PMO Project Manager 1 role is responsible for managing projects and programs for the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. This position collaborates with organizational leaders to provide clear project vision, value, and deliverables to achieve Health System goals and ROI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, define project metrics, and report on project status and results.
  • Provide independent, analytical, and programmatic support for the health system's strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate project deliverables and provide support and assistance to Senior Project Managers and Project Sponsors.
  • Manage cross-functional projects, including planning and organizing work to achieve project and organizational objectives.
  • Utilize strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assist in the development and execution of new and ongoing projects.
  • Develop and deliver clear and concise presentations and communicate effectively with a variety of key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, healthcare management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible positions in healthcare administration in a university or hospital setting.
  • PMP certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business, statistics, healthcare management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in healthcare or university administration managing multiple projects using project management methodology.
