Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage dedicated drivers to achieve specific goals, including meeting pick-up and delivery requirements, maximizing revenue, and maintaining an excellent safety record.
  • Dispatch loads to drivers, optimize routes, and plan delivery schedules to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Communicate with drivers and customers to resolve delivery issues and promote safety throughout operations.
  • Focus on driver retention by understanding driver requirements and preferences, monitoring performance, and keeping drivers informed and motivated.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues, resolve driver conflicts, and maintain records of driver performance and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills to manage dedicated drivers.
  • Ability to optimize routes and plan delivery schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency.
