Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with examination and treatment of patients, performing tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical history.
- Populate electronic medical records with accurate and timely information, including allergies, medications, and social history.
- Conduct point-of-care tests and maintain supplies in storage areas and exam rooms.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following established standards and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited healthcare program (e.g. Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT) or equivalent work experience.
- Nationally recognized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- 1-3 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in Family or Pediatrics.
- Competitive hourly rate: $20 - $26 per hour.
