Position Overview: Pharmacy Supply Chain Coordinator

In this role, you will support Pharmacy Technicians by assisting with essential tasks related to medication management, including delivery, inventory checks, and maintenance of pharmacy cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

Medication Management
  • Execute Batch and Off Batch Production Run Deliveries
  • Manage Batch Production Run Deliveries utilizing Medication Cassettes
  • Facilitate Meds to Beds deliveries from the retail pharmacy
Inventory Control
  • Conduct inspections for medication expiration dates within the Pharmacy Department, Nursing Units, and Ambulatory Care Sites
Receiving and Replenishment
  • Oversee the receipt of medications from manufacturers and wholesalers
  • Replenish medications and supplies in pharmacy storage areas, Pyxis MedStation ES, and surgical facilities
  • Retrieve medications during pharmaceutical recalls
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with Pyxis MedStation ES
Sanitation Duties
  • Maintain cleanliness of medication storage areas, bins, refrigerators, and Pyxis MedStations
Retail Pharmacy Support
  • Assist with receiving tasks
  • Operate cash register
  • Conduct patient triage
  • Manage incoming phone inquiries
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
  • Level 4 proficiency
  • Experience with rapid response protocols
Skills and Competencies: Basic proficiency in computer operations, particularly within the Windows environment.

Schedule Information: This position requires specific shifts, including Full-Time Morning, Night, and Evening shifts, as well as Part-Time Rotating Weekends (Morning/Night).
  • Please note that shift coverage is essential for this role, and training will be mandatory and conducted full-time, with hours that may differ from regular shifts.
