**Job Summary**
The IT Business Process Improvement Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing business processes and supporting strategic initiatives, focusing on coordinating user testing for an ERP migration. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Analysis: Conduct detailed business processes, workflows, and systems analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Requirements Gathering: Gather and document business requirements through meetings, interviews, and observations.
- Functional Specifications: Develop functional specifications and system design specifications.
- Project Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize business requirements and manage project scope.
- Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support decision-making and identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvement strategies.
- Project Execution: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- User Testing: Develop and execute a comprehensive user testing plan for the ERP migration project.
- Test Case Development: Create test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on business requirements.
- User Training: Facilitate user training sessions and provide support during testing phases.
- Issue Resolution: Work with IT and development teams to resolve issues identified during testing.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized documentation of business processes, requirements, specifications, and testing activities.
- User Support: Provide support to end-users during and after the implementation of solutions.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on new processes and systems.
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Lean Six Sigma certification, are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the food distribution, logistics, or a related industry.
- ERP Experience: Hands-on experience with ERP systems, including implementation, migration, and user testing coordination.
- Oracle Cloud Experience: Experience with Oracle Cloud products is a plus.
