We are currently looking to hire a Project Cargo Coordinator for our operations.

The Project Cargo Coordinator will oversee import/export administration, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate pricing estimates for international freight shipments, both inbound and outbound.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with air and ocean transport providers.
  • Manage the processing of shipping documentation.
  • Negotiate shipping rates with vendors and clients.
  • Create air and ocean waybills.
  • Collaborate with and select overseas agents.
  • Book and monitor shipments with carriers.
  • Input data into proprietary software systems.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of import/export operations, including freight routing and regulatory compliance. Experience with DDTC and export licenses is advantageous.
  • 2-5 years of experience in import/export or freight forwarding is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficient in accessing, accurately entering, and retrieving information from a computer.
  • Ability to read, prepare, and price quotations.
