Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, considering psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, setting measurable and achievable goals in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Coordinate care, provide education, and facilitate discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Evaluate patient progress, revising plans of care as needed, and involving patients and the team in the decision-making process.
  • Document all aspects of the nursing process in patients' records, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Stay current with professional development, practice, and education, promoting a safe and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an RN nursing program.
  • Active RN licensure within the State or nurse licensure compact.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification upon hire, with acceptable credentialing bodies including the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification within 6 months of hire.
